Some things need more than an hour.
Therapy intensives create the time and space to go deeper —understanding the roots of what’s happening, addressing what has kept you stuck, and beginning the work of rebuilding.
Designed for individuals, couples, and families who are ready for focused, intentional therapeutic work.
When You Know There’s More Underneath.
Maybe you understand the pattern, but can't seem to change it.
Maybe you've spent years functioning, achieving, caring for everyone else, or simply surviving—and you're finally ready to address what's underneath.
Maybe your marriage is caught in the same painful cycle no matter how many times you promise each other things will be different.
Or maybe something in your family needs to be addressed, but the complexity of the relationship feels impossible to unpack in a traditional therapy hour.
That's where intensive work can be different.
Instead of stopping just as we're getting somewhere, an intensive gives us dedicated time to slow down, explore the larger story, identify the roots of current patterns, and begin working toward meaningful change.
Intensive work might be right for you if…
-
You recognize patterns in your life but want to understand where they came from and why they continue.
-
You want to address what's beneath recurring conflict, disconnection, mistrust, or emotional distance.
-
Childhood experiences, family dynamics, trauma, loss, or earlier relationships continue influencing how you experience life today.
-
You want to explore identity, worth, purpose, expectations, or who you became in order to survive.
-
There are wounds, ruptures, patterns, or experiences that need more time and structure than a typical session allows.
Intensive Options
Individual Intensives
Individual intensives provide focused space to explore trauma, childhood experiences, generational patterns, identity, relationships, and the beliefs or survival strategies that may still be influencing your life.
Depending on your needs, our work may incorporate EMDR, attachment-focused work, relational approaches, family-of-origin exploration, and other trauma-informed interventions.
Common areas of focus include:
Childhood and relational trauma
Intergenerational patterns
Identity and self-worth
Life transitions
Grief & loss
Relationship patterns
Boundaries
Purpose
Understand the story beneath the pattern.
Couple Intensives
Our earliest relationships can shape what we expect from love, how we respond to conflict, what makes us feel safe or rejected, and how we protect ourselves when we feel hurt.
Couples intensives create space to slow those patterns down, understand what each partner is bringing into the relationship, repair relational wounds, and begin building a healthier way of connecting.
Common areas of focus include:
Recurring conflict
Emotional disconnection
Trust & repair
Communication
Family-of-origin patterns
Attachment wounds
Major transitions
Rebuilding intimacy & connection
Don’t just stop the fight. Understand the cycle.
Family Intensives
Families carry stories.
Some are beautiful and worth preserving. Others include pain, misunderstanding, roles, expectations, ruptures, and patterns that have never had a safe place to be addressed.
Family intensives provide structured therapeutic space for family members to understand those dynamics, have conversations that may be difficult to navigate alone, and begin developing healthier ways of relating.
Common areas of focus include:
Parent–adult child relationships
Family conflict
Generational patterns
Relationship repair
Major family transitions
Communication
Boundaries
Reconnection

What makes an intensive different?
More time. More context. Deeper work.
Traditional therapy typically asks us to fit complex experiences into approximately one hour.
Intensives give us something different: space.
Space to understand the larger story.
Space to recognize connections we may have missed.
Space to stay with important moments rather than stopping because the session is ending.
And space to move from simply identifying a pattern toward doing something meaningful with what we've discovered.
An intensive isn't about rushing healing. It's about creating enough room for deeper work.

We'll spend dedicated therapeutic time exploring the roots, working through identified concerns, and developing a plan for what comes next.
